Determination of Synephrine and Naringenin in Fructus Aurantii Fructus Aurantii by Capillary Electrophoresis

March 05, 2024

Abstract: The content of Synephrine and naringenin in Fructus Aurantii was determined by capillary electrophoresis. Under the condition of 30 mmol·L-1 borax buffer solution (p H 10. 0), effective separation of the tested components was achieved. The content of synephrine in Fructus Aurantii was measured as 0.724 2 mg · g-1 with a relative standard deviation of 5.9% (n = 5); the content of naringenin was 0.904 7 mg · g-1, The relative standard deviation is 3.8% (n = 5). The average recovery of synephrine and naringenin was 89.1% and 99.6%, respectively.
